Women of the World
Rules, Guidelines,
and Membership Procedures
This section is
very lengthy. While the rules and guidelines may seem a bit
unreachable, they are strictly out there to enforce the safety of
our members. Please do not judge our group solely on the rules and
guidelines. If you have questions about these procedures, we
welcome the opportunity to talk with you. Please click here
to receive an emailed copy of these rules.
Rules for The Women of the World
1. No Pornography Allowed. Only artistic nudity (Such as expressive art) allowed.
2. No sites will be admitted with any reference to child pornography, cruelty to animals or exploitation of women.
3. No flaming of other members. (This involves hate mail to another WotW member either in group or private emails) Flaming is NOT allowed in any shape or form against other WotW members. Flaming of other groups or people will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another group, do not bring it to
WotW.
4. No hate websites. (Sites that promote violence and intolerance towards any religion, race, sex, beliefs, creeds, lifestyles, sexes and the like.)
5. You must be a woman of at least 18 years of age.
6. You must have a valid email address.
7. No commercial web sites allowed. Hence sites that are purely for the purpose of selling or promoting a product and have absolutely no personal content on them whatsoever.
8. Password Protected areas are permitted within WotW provided the following stipulations are met:
(a.) The WotW webring, banner, or dedication pages are not located within password-protected areas.
(b.) The Founder and only the Founder is granted one-time only access to the protected areas to ensure they do not violate the rules in section 2 (child pornography, cruelty to animals, exploitation of women).
(c.) Any password protected areas have disclaimer notices posted on the entrance/main password area to indicate reason for protection (i.e., "The following pages are for members of the
Group of Here only and do not pertain to the general public" or "The following pages may contain material not suitable for people under the age of 18") This would allow you, the site owner, ability to publish material or art that may be of questionable nature to other viewers.
(d.) You agree that once accepted into WotW, any password-protected areas/pages would not be later changed to public viewing but remain privately protected unless prior approval from the Founder is granted.
9. By submitting a site into WotW, you agree that the Founder and Moderators periodically review sites for content and structure and if at any time your site is deemed questionable, they may contact you for more information.
10. If you are not sure if your site meets all the requirements set forth by WotW, please contact the Founder. All sites are welcome for review!
11. And the Most important rule - HAVE FUN!!!
Failure to follow these rules will result in the IMMEDIATE expulsion from the Women of the World WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE.
The safety of our members is our number one priority. We will
not tolerate harassment of any nature towards another member.

The Member Process
Upon receiving applications for new members, the Moderators look over the application and its information and decide upon approval or rejection. This process can take up to
two weeks.
The Web Ring
To join the web ring, fill out the application form at the bottom of the
webring page and submit it. Your form will be sent to Divinity who will review your site for proper webring fragment and that your site id number, email address, image, and links are all working correctly, and also to make sure your site does not violate the
WotW rules.
After this is ascertained, you will be accepted into the WotW webring and your webring information will be sent to our welcoming committee so that you will be greeted properly.
Please know that we will keep your site in the queue until you have the webring fragment placed properly onto your website. If the webring fragment is still not found on your site 2 weeks after you have submitted your information, you will be removed from the webring queue without acceptance and may reapply at another date.
Please be advised, if you receive a request for help locating the webring or if you are requested for additional information, you have only the allotted time to return the information before your site will be removed from the queue.
